The Bumstead Bobble Hat celebrates the great checked Chelsea kit of the 1988/89 season that saw the blues crowned Champions of the second division and promoted back to the first division after a short absence. These were great times for blues fans with talented players like Kerry Dixon, Kevin McAllister, and Gordon Durie (let’s forget he left for Spurs!) and cult hero John Bumstead.
