The Bernie Bucket Hat celebrates the home and away kits of Middlesbrough FC from the 1987/88 season when Boro were promoted for the second successive season, defeating Chelsea over two legs of a promotion/relegation play off final! Bernie Slaven scored Boro’s first goal of the home leg, and such is his stature with Middlesbrough supporters we decide to name the hat after him.
One side of the hat bears the design of the home shirt, one side the away kit.
