]]> The new, improved, Marco Bobble Hat is our tribute to the Sunderland kit of the 1987/88 season. We have added extra stripes tot both the cuff of the hat and the top just beneath the Bobble. This for us better represents the SAFC shirt of that time and it also reflects the detail on this season’s SAFC home shirt which shares the same inspiration

The mackems had fallen on hard times in the late 80s and been relegated to division three. However, under the stewardship of Denis Smith the black cats beat all before them led by a tenacious young striker, Marco Gabbiadini. We’ve made a limited number of hats to celebrate the jersey and shorts the side wore that year, shows things can improve on Wearside.

Each hat is our interpretation of a classic kit and is an original concept designed by us to evoke memories. Our products are in no way connected to the clubs whose supporters identify with them, they are strictly unofficial.
