PLEASE NOTE: We have noticed an error on one side of this hat, the Red/White/Black side. The letters may not match up correctly to say “Sunderland”. Most people buy for the 92 side of the hat BUT we have reduced the price to reflect the mistake in SOME hats as we believe ion the quality of what we offer. Purchasing means you accept the potential fault.

Armstrong Bucket Hats are our tribute to the classic SAFC kits of the 1991/1992 season when Sunderland embarked upon a famous FA Cup run, making it all the way to the final at Wembley!

We have improved the design of the hats and included the new reverse side of classic SAFC colours of red, white and black incorporating the font from the back of the “Welcome to Sunderland” sign that was on the back of the Fullwell end stand!

The hats are made from synthetic materials in the EU.

Armstrong Bobble Hat

The Armstrong Bobble Hats are our tribute to the home kit worn by Southampton in the 1985/87 seasons. The team was of course sponsored by Draper tools at this time and had some stunning kits, not least the almost entirely red effort the inspired this amazing hat. We’ve named the hat after David Armstrongn, a shaven headed (!?) forward who struck up a formidable partnership with Steve Moran. They famously combined for Steve to score a last minute winner in a Fratton Park cup tie that you can relive here!

We’ve only made a limited of the hats, they are very much collector’s items.

The Moran Bobble Hats are our tribute to the away kit worn by Southampton in the 1985/87 seasons. The team was of course sponsored by Draper tools at this time and had some stunning kits, not least a blue effort the inspired this amazing hat. We’ve named the hat after Steve Moran, a pacy striker plucked from school in Farnham who struck up a great partnership with David Armstrong. They famously combined for Steve to score a last minute winner in a Fratton Park cup tie that you can relive here!

We’ve only made a limited of the hats, they are very much collector’s items.
